If Forest beat you they'll have a big re-build job on. They'll go up without all/most of their best players. Spence will be sold at a price Forest can't afford. Johnson almost certainly will be subject to an offer too big for Forest to refuse (from Newcastle Arabia). If Forest want to sign Davis he won't be free from Villa, and he has increased his value whilst at Forest (and if he scored in the Final his value would rise again). Garner, given Man Utd's current midfield might they keep him, or loan him out abroad for a season just to check they haven't laid the golden egg?
If I were a Premiership manager I'd certainly be considering some of the players you got for free, but luckily none of them come with glamour attached so you might get away with it. How the hell did Corboran get you up there with ZERO transfer fees? Don't understand his team selections sometimes, but the thing about sports is you get to look in the results column.
However much the Final costs you Huddersfield fans, you will only remember it if Forest win - and a lot of you can recall the trauma of having to fight even to stay in the EFL, so if there is one thing you're good at it is reality checks. So long as you don't freeze on the day I think you have every chance. Corboran was certainly paying attention when he was with Bielsa. Perhaps Leeds fans are going to adopt a Joni Mitchell song as their new anthem ...... "Don't it always seem to go/ that you don't know what you've got ................... I'm sure you can take it from there. Whatever happens, hang on the Corboran.
