Shame I can not say that any of our players shone in the same way. An honourable mention for Ashworth, Taylor, Ingram, Teixeira and Faal is the best I could muster. Their number 6 should have been sent off in the first half for IMO was a deliberate elbow on Teixeira, then again in the second half with a nasty two footer, though he only managed one yellow for the second. It was amusing to see Teixeira (Who came up to his shoulder) run over and give him a good shove after the second tackle I am not sure who it was on.

My granddaughter and I were there last night your being a bit hard on the Albion, we had 8 of our 11local lads within 15 miles of the Hawthorns and the other 3 were from this country. Wolves have players from all over Europe with one player bought for 4.5 mill. Yes technically they were good but want to walk the ball into the net. We also fought wonderfully well. Ted Cann was great and both Taylor and Ashworth will make it at a high level. Remember the ref totally bottled it in the first half with there player not being sent off for an elbow, then the same player nearly cuts Richards in half with a ridiculous tackle. So a player received 1 yellow card for 2 sending off offences. Anyway take nothing away from these youngsters they deserved to win because they never stopped running and believing. Great night to be a baggie.
Cheers for that report and the info about the players; it puts an extra shine on us lifting the cup
