Here's my list. Not necessarily in order but based upon the likelihood that promotion is gone for this season & the playoffs are unlikely.

1. Extend the contracts NOW of all players that we want to keep. This means definitely Westwood, Loovens & Lees and could mean other players as well, such as Mattock, Lee, Semedo & Maghoma. We have to take into account that we are likely to bring in better players but current first team players are likely to be required as back up.

2. Give opportunities to players that might be good enough. Play Madine for the next eight matches. Give Lavery increased game time. If they are not up to it then let them go in the summer but let's find out first. We already know that Nuhui & Maguire aren't good enough.

3. Try more progressive formations. Playing 442 limits us so much. Let's try 352. We have the ideal defenders to play this way & we will compete better in CM & still have two strikers. For example,

Westwood
Lees - Loovens - Dielna
Palmer - Hutchinson - Baker - Maghoma - Helan
Madine - May

4. A new signing now. Our gaps are striker, CM & pacy winger (Antonio, Drenthe type). I think the summer is the best time to get the striker (Darren Bent?) we need so either McGugan or the winger.

5. Follow the Lee Strafford plan for improving the ground. Improve the concourses & get a 21st century scoreboard for next season.

6. Use the remainder of this season as a trial for all coaching staff & players.
