Yep! We've known the areas of weakness/concern for a long time, some of them extremely unlucky due to unforeseen injuries. I think Hibs just need to see out the season and regroup. The transfer period in the close season will be very important for us. I'm looking for some cute transfer dealing from Hibs - it's imperative they get this right with hopefully a very forward-thinking new manager in place who also has a winning mentality about him and is unfazed by any fixture on the Scot Prem fixture list. Remove the "deadwood", poss pull in decent money from a big money transfer and act effectively!! Initial transfer targets for me are Livy's Bruce Anderson and Ross Co's striker, Regan-Charles-Cook. Also in defence, I know Aberdeen's Andrew Considine is an older player now on a free transfer, but he was a stalwart (and apparently a vg dressing room character) in the Dons' defence for years and "interesting" IMO - all dependent on fitness/physical health after such a horrible knee injury. Jason Kerr, a solid Hibs fan from a Hibs supporting family, would be a top target. Midfield is another area of interest and again I'd be interested in an injured player who is a triple cup winner with St Johnstone and has been badly missed by the Saints - David Wotherspoon. His return would again be dependent on future fitness and physical health assessment. His team mate, Shaun Rooney, would be of great interest to me - a utility player with great physical superiority. All these players have winning qualities about them and most of them have leadership attributes too with two of them associated with Hibee families. This is the kinda shrewd transfer activity I'm looking for from Hibs in the summer. It's imperative that we bring in new players who will make a difference to the current Hibs 1st team prospects for next season.
