You must recall what Maloney said in his pre-match/semi comments - we're well prepared for this one blah, blah, blah!! So much for prep in that 1st half 30 mins of casualness, caution and mistakes. Also the "leak" of his starting line up on Friday night was an absolute embarrassment preceding such an important match for the club!!! 
And his reluctance to take off yellow-carded Newell, esp with Beaton around, was a fatal error!! Logic prevails in the second half esp after such an early yellow card - didn't do it and no knowledge of the history of this fixture and red cards being issued, an idiot!!!
I've never mentioned Caldwell in this debate and just wanna say for the record "I'm delighted that he's oot the door"!!! As well as him being useless as a coach, I was never enamoured to him after his cutting comments against Hibs years ago when he left the club to go to Celtic - never forgotten and I was dismayed to see him anywhere near any job at ER Stadium. Another poor judgement call by Maloney IMO!!!
Also there is a lotta "pals of pals" stuff in this story that doesn't impress me one jot. That applies to the position of Kensell as well!! Bring back Leeann - a "safe pair of hands" compared with Kensell's dismal performance in a such a short period.
