1-2 Hibs and just back. I must say for starters: "Melkerson must stay in that CF position"!! Now I know why Hibs "forked out" that large amount of transfer money in January and also confirmed why the young lad was unlucky in not getting a regular game in the Bodo Glimt 1st team. Also gotta mention Jasper's contribution - two great crosses/passes to set up Melkerson and subsequently impress a jubilant sell out Hibs support that added to a really good atmosphere at Fir Park on a sunny afternoon; top class celebrations after the final whistle! 
Mugabe's injury tackle to Doig definitely worthy of a straight red car btw, but our known nightmare ref, Golum, enhancing his shit reputation by not sending off Roberts for another very dangerous tackle and some of his other decisions were absolutely crap! 
Maloney's second half strategy baffling to many Hibs fans esp when playing v ten men!? I reckon Motherwell's well-taken (but fortuitous) strike just before HT changed his way of thinking and Hibs effectively "holding the lead" instead of IMO "running the Motherwell fitness levels into the ground" and finishing them off. The manager opted for "winning ugly" and stifling the match activity as much as poss - job done and through to another cup semi-final, a terrific record of semi appearances covering the past four seasons and a pity Hibs couldn't have picked up at least two or three trophies in the process.
