Whilst your going up the table, we (WBA) are going down - now 11th. In fact the only good news today was that Walsall like you beat the top of the table team.

Theo, that was a brilliant write up my man - brilliant. Do u do the program write up's as well or write fr a paper? Cos your good. Thumb up

Now less of the flattery, can you now predict where middle table we'll (WBA) finish the season. I say 8th.

Cheers BaggieBob, if that's a job offer let me know. Big Grin

I predicted you'd soon be back in the top six in the match thread and to a large extent that Town would get another battering if we played like we did in previous meetings. Shows how good my predictions are but I'll take the 3 points because I can't remember us playing that well against Fulham in recent seasons. Thumb up

Do you really want me to predict your middle 8 (ish) final position? You could have been out of site by half-time at Luton but it seems a lot of heads drop when you concede first.

I just do this for the amusement of myself and others on this site. Occasionally it annoys some opposition fans on their own forums that take themselves far too seriously, but I long ago stopped looking for any responses. You only end up arguing with idiots in need of a sense of humour transplant and they've often had far more practice at being an idiot as a rule.

I might have annoyed the odd Town fan too in the past. Whistle C'est la guerre, as they say in Montreal.

If I was doing this for anything else (like money, or beers) I'd have to name and shame my sauces (especially for the pics and screen grabs) though I think most of us on here use similar sauces for some if not most of our info. The rest comes from snippets of what else is available around the game (like pressers, newspaper waffle, radio interviews, interweb previews).

There's stuff I observe and keep for a rainy day (see Boiler Repair Man - I saw Parker in that jacket a while back and though I'd find a use for it one day). Otherwise after a long-time watching Town (like many others on here) I just remember things and anecdotes (or remember roughly where to look as the beer slowly flushes away the memory cells).

My wacky or occasionally rather strange sense of humour might always not be to everyone's taste, I know that. It's not meant to be taken seriously but I do throw some odd facts and figures in there to try and edumacate, entertain and amuse plus a few deliberate typo's as a dig at the appalling English allowed to escape our school system that turns up on t'interweb these days. It's up to you guys to decide which bit is which.

I like everyone's match thread efforts on here, no matter how in depth (see Snoots, the historian) or short and sweet or quiz/anagram orientated. Everyone has their own style which is great and it makes it interesting for all of us.

I've also too much time on my hands (at the moment) after being made redundant thanks to Covid and Bodgit's (lack of competent) handling of it, so the part-time work I'm doing to actually pay the bills leaves me time to look for a few other creative things to do or odd-ball info to search for for a thread.

Now, can you give me some tips for next weekends predictions?
As always I'm doing my New Year L666s style dive back down the table in Snoots's Prediction League. Laugh

I'll be having a few beers in Brum at the weekend and looking for your result on the way back from St. Andrews (assuming the Gil Merrick stand hasn't been turned into a pile of rust by the recent rain). Thumb up

If you don't go up, you'll be doomed to Championship football or even lower just like all the other clubs his magical wand has been tapped by.

You forgot "skint"
