Yes I believe its known by  posters but I find it doesn't always work on my iphone.

I find it doesn't always work and also it's too small and my fat fingers will often press the thread title instead and on iPhones you can't go back without refreshing the page so the site assumes you've read the page when actually you haven't

In short, a bigger "jump to last read" button please
