Can't say I'm surprised by any of the selections here, but can say I'm a little disappointed and would have gone with a few others in the touring party.
There's still a lion's squad to be named and I believe that they are going to be touring fairly close to main squad, so there's nothing in theory stopping another player being added to the main squad a few days before a test match
