If this team is good enough to gain promotion, how many of them would prove competitive in the Premier League? Not many meaning a large team rebuild, which in turn means with limited funds you are having to make do and the following season its back to the Championship. In order to have a chance of not yo-yo-ing, you need at IMO 75% of your championship players who would be competitive in the Prem, so on promotion you can spend what money you do have on better quality players, I am not talking about buying Kane or Messi, just players who will give you a fighting chance of survival.
