That must be some head injury that Paul Hanlon picked up v Rijeka. The Hibs medical staff clearly learnt a harsh lesson playing him too early and now taking no chances. Re this upcoming Hertz match, don't be fooled by their good form. Two of their testy matches to scrutinise are the games at Celtic park v the Hoops and their recent match v the Dons at the PBH. They should've been 6-1 down by the HT whistle at Celtic Park and beaten 9-1 by FT. Their star player is their goalie, Gordon, who is no doubt a top player in this Scot Prem and will likely play for Scotland v Austria in Wednesday's World Cup opener. However, the striking from various players in this match v this goalie was woeful as they should've been rightly "hammered" in a hi-press performance they just couldn't cope with! The Aberdeen match again exposed Hertz mid and defensive frailties and the common factor is again Gordon having various great saves. However, bear in mind this goalie has been a historical "bugbear" to past Hibs sides that should've beaten them in so many instances, a case of take your scoring opps (there will definitely be goal opps in this match!!) and dinnae give the goalie a "sniff" of saving a shot from an easy opp to score.
