One of these days I'll get to watch the game. I blame it on my 13 y old grandson who plays striker for a local soccer (well, this is Canada) team. He's the team's leading scorer and his goals keep putting the team through to the next round of the tournament. First round he had a hand in scoring all three goals of his team's win, scoring two and assisting with another. Last game, just when it looked like his team might lose, he scored the equalizer. Went to penalty kicks and you've guessed it he was one of the penalty scorers. So today, I'll miss the Owls game and instead be watching Winsloe v Stonepark. 'Course I'm not very proud of him.
