I would also imagine that Hutchinson was a little off the pace of a real game, making thee tackles even worse. Not seen the goals or "non-goal" yet but everyone seems to agree that May's was a good goal, that frustrating but we shouldn't have been in that situation anyway!!

You are spot on with the subs MS, said on the match thread that it was a surpise taking Maghoma off when the change in formation had seen him being much more effective!!! The subs basically took us back to 442 and the system that hadn't worked in the first half and took all the momentum away from us after starting the 2nd half much better. Naive tactice by SG!!!

I am hoping the break we now have will be used to good effect and allow the introduction of Baker into the team full time. He has looked good in the small amount of time he has played so far and certainly seems more capable of getting forward to support the forwards. I would prefer to see him in a midfield with Semedo/Hutchinson in front of the back four and Maghoma and baker in front of him.
