Man U beaten 11-10 in a final showdown pk decider of the Europa League final in Gdansk last night. And De Gea unfortunately "pulled the short straw" in missing the penalty that mattered to render United as another losing finalist v a team that they should've "swept the floor with". But it was a shit match TBH and they never "showed up". De Gea not expected to take a pen anyway. But why didn't he just thrash the baw past the Villareal goalie (just like taking a bye kick but hit it low!!) instead of kicking a pitiful back pass?????? Anyway I must say I've never seen De Gea (the most expensive goalie United have ever signed!!) save a pk in years for United and never expected him to do it last night either - I wasn't disappointed by what I saw unfold!! I've previously commented two years ago that United should've moved on Casper Schmeichel to replace De Gea and move him on. I believe they'd have won more trophies than they have done up to now if Schmeichel was "between the sticks". IMO it is time to quickly do it now - BETTER LATE THAN NEVER!!
