Binfield are in the semi finals of the 2020/21 FA Vase after a stunning 5-0 win at Long Eaton United in Derbyshire.
A brace from captain fantastic Sean Moore and a Liam Ferdinand hat-trick ensured the Moles made it through to the semi-finals where they will play away to US Portsmouth – one match from a landmark day at Wembley Stadium.
The big win meant the Moles didn’t have to rely on the penalty shoot-out heroics of goalkeeper Chris Grace. If Binfield reach the final, they will not have played a single minute of this seasons competition at home.
In the other Quarter Final involving a Hellenic League side, Flackwell Heath were beaten 2-0 by US Portsmouth courtesy of a James Franklin and Harry Seargent strike.
