Leek Lark vetoed the Vardy signing, wasn't attitude I don't think, I think he thought his ceiling was mid league 1 and that Novak was the better option and already at the club.

That worked out well too.

Long story short, I went on holiday with someone who knew someone who worked very close to clark and a fair few managers after him. Was told through that channel that Clark didn't rate vardy. Obviously that was an error of judgement but those happen and you gotta accept that, just seems to happen a lot to us at the moment.

Tbf there was a few decent tales told about that town management team and player. Few other snippets here and there about the ones that followed
