Krovinovic was more than a bit-part player last season. He played 40 times in the league, 24 of those were starts and it was only in 6 matches where he didn't make it on the pitch.
I do think resigning him was a good decision in the summer because he added depth to the midfield but Slaven should have pritorited a defensive midfield player ahead of him. Under Allardyce there is only really room for 1 luxury player in the 11 and that will always be Pereira so I'm not really surprised that the loan has been ended.
