At the risk of being called an old coffin dodger what wouldn't I give for a Wile, Robertson partnership right now, with maybe Bryan Robson driving the midfield.
So sorry to see this great Club that I have supported or, more recently followed from afar, going so rapidly and it seems from the players attitudes, so willingly, down the pan.
I can't get to games now, my last a 2-1 win over Bolton with Sean Long scoring the winner. However, I have to accept what you guys say about the lack of desire and passion.
I guess the only consolation is that we will get a parachute payment from the Prem sometime next season. Let's hope that rules are in place to prevent Lai from getting his hands on it. After all if you are not prepared to put any money in, why should you be allowed to take it out.
My last wish is that we do not acquire Derby's record of the fewest ever points by a Premiership team. If, that is, we dare to call ourselves that!!![]()

Sorry you can no longer get to matches, I get to most home and away seen some really crap sides since 67. What annoys me most with this side is the talent is there but the application to isn’t. I think in the next 3 weeks things will change rapidly, you could see by Allardyce’s face yesterday he’s a bad loser and he’s had his fill of this lot. He will bring in players who will fight and try and be honest to the cause. You could even find a couple of outgoings.Heard Pereira not happy wants more money, well why did he sign a 5 year contract if after a few months he wants more. I will back Allardyce until he has had time to put his players and tactics on his team. Fans saying we should have kept Bilic of witch I was one, are wrong this lot are his players and they have done nothing for nearly 12 months.
Good Post 13.
I thought exactly the same about SA, so was a little disturbed to read the following on the BBC site:
"My job now, having looked at the full squad nearly, is to raise as much as money as we can and get as many players as we can in January," Allardyce told BBC Sport.
"I'm in no doubt about that now having been here the last few weeks and seen what I've seen.
"I'm happy with the application and the effort but what we are not good at is keeping a clean sheet and at the other end we are not good at scoring a goal so I've got to sort both of those areas out."
Maybe he just doesn't want to criticise his players in the press?
