53 years ago!!! Bloody Hell!..............

In the pub opposite the Ground a youngish bloke walked in, and he was showing his mates this bag of eggs. Thought nothing of it much, but when we (Brummie Roaders) 'took over' the 'ammersmiff End an hour later, I sickeningly discovered a smashed egg had ruined my mohair suit jacket.

(I looked out for the same bloke in the same Pub a year or so later when we also won there in the 4th Round, but no eggs to be seen. )
