A bit of a non specific rant.
Looking at the BBC football 'transfer gossip /news,' or whatever it's called, almost all articles are involving absolutely obscene amounts of money for players that are honestly probably worth a tenth of the price quoted.
Bad enough, but in these times when the majority of REAL clubs have their backs to the wall, or even days away from going bust......
I know it's 'market forces' at work, but at the present time I really think that there should be some sort of worldwide football regulatory body set up to distribute monies in a fairer and more sensible way.
I'm sure that 95% of fans would support this, surely?
(..... and I'M certainly NOT an idealist/socialist in my political views!)
