One other thing Snoots - when was that pic of The Cowshed End taken?
I'm trying to work out if I was still in there, stood just this side of the onion bag/pillar nearest to it (at least 3/4 of the way to the back) or if I'd migrated out to The Terrace somewhere close to the 18yd line at this end by then?
Stood either way amongst a bunch of Woodbine and Capstan Full Strength (with no filter tips) smokers by then. Plus a few roll me owns. Never smoked anything first hand in my life. How the fook I've survived some of the 2nd hand stuff they and others have smoked around me is beyond me.
I used to laugh at them when they all said here comes the shit from ICI at half time when it was all their own smoke billowing out from under the Terrace roof.
