Nowt to do with us and transfers but I see that Ben Arfa has just gone to Nice after a loan spell with Hull was cancelled and he was told 'no way back' at Newcastle.
Anybody know why? I always thought he was an absolute class act and rated him very, very highly. What went wrong?

I think he's a bad trainer, probably got a bit of an attitude problem.

Surprised what happened with Hull, because in the cup game against us earlier in the season he was by far the best player on the pitch. Bruce was raving about him for the first few games before they fell out.

I saw an interview with Ryan Taylor a year or so back and he said Ben Arfa couldn't be bothered in training but was by the far the best player he'd played with at 3pm on a Saturday afternoon. Most managers in this country are disciplinarians though and put more weight on the player's attitude than his ability. We saw the same thing with Somen Tchoyi here, he barely got a look in because he was a lazy trainer but he was by far the most effective midfield goalscorer when he stepped on the pitch on match day.
