Didn't see it myself, but it sounds like yet another example of the media blowing everything out of proportion when it comes to football. The whole attitude they have, IMO, is ridiculous, and the trouble is that it has led to the players, coaches, etc believing it all! Everything is so important, and everyone is now so self important - "read here for the manager's pre match press conference", etc etc.

"Injuries"!! A reserve CH has stubbed his toe at home, and it's an "injury crisis". A midfielder is tackled hard and goes down like he's been shot, and the press /commentators are treating it as if his leg's come off. Oh no, he's back up now, what a hero!
Everything is so exaggerated, it's unbelievable.
