Le Tissier great player but Lazy , Gascoigne great player , Robson brilliant player in his position probably the best box to box player this country ever produced ie I did not see the late great Duncan Edwards. But Laurie was pure genius, his balance his control everything about him was wonderful. We all know why he hardly played for England in today’s environment he would be a 100 mill player and was easily as good probably better than Sterling, Sancho and the kid at Chelsea. But he was around when if you were Black or did not play for a London club Liverpool or Utd, You had no chance of playing regularly for England. When you think about it at that time we had a manager who could not decide who should play in goal for England let alone who was the best Winger and Striker . All this is just my own opinion.
