Yeah, Le Tissier was amazing in his day. Unfortunately he wasn't enough of a workhorse for an England side that relied on graft from forwards. Southampton had the luxury of building their entire side around him, but at international level Le Tiss had to try and slot in to roles he wasn't suited for, trying to add physicality to his game when all he really needed to do was pick up the ball thirty yards from goal and have a crack.
