Just been looking through the Tony Pulis signings
Dave Kitson £5.5M
Seyi Olofinjana £3M
Tuncay Şanlı £5M
Dean Whitehead £5M

Diego Arismendi £2.5M Kenwyne Jones £8M Cameron Jerome £4M Peter Crouch & Wilson Palacios £20M Charlie Adam £4M. The list of players who cost £2M+ and never made it at Stoke is endless
He likes to spend decent money on bang average players. of course during his time at Stoke he made some astute signings as well but i'm not sure i'd trust him with full control of transfers at West Brom

Tom, I'm pretty sure Tony Pulis wouldn't have been responsible for the prices paid for those players. He worked to a DofF in John Rudge, so I'm sure Rudge and the Stoke chairman would have negotiated the fees, so I think they carry the can for any overspending.
Squirrel Regis:
Yes Pulis early Stoke teams were an abomination but in recent years they have out passed and out played us so this hoofball talk is just wrong.
Seem to remember his Palace team doing us 3-1 last season and again nothing like long ball football.
We are up shit creek without a paddle now so if you want championship football and all our players leaving like rats of a sinking ship then pretty football it is.
Good luck with that !
4 wins at home in the last 12 months.
Newcastle against 10 men, Villa against 10 men, Burnley and West Ham.
Poor results and aimless shit football.
Sorry to be blunt but wake up and smell the coffee. The last 10 years will be for nothing if we go down. Look at Blues, that's what happens when the premier league cash gets taken away.

Spot on, Squirrel - and if we do go down with Pulis, I would be 1,000 times more confident of coming straight back up again under him than under a lot of other managers who Albion might appoint, but I am much more confident now that we'll stay up, barring a disaster.
