Any evidence its worse than seasonal flu yet? Not holding my breath yet, though some might.

Its far worse in terms of those requiring hospitalisation and in terms of the percentage that it kills. The seasonal flu kills about 0.1% of those who get it, this one is running at between 3-5% although that number is evolving. I also think the strain this puts on healthcare is so much greater, its only a matter of time before healthcare workers start getting ill, at least with the seasonal flu there is a flu shot they can get, with this there is no protection for them via medicine.
