Ebola, Green Monkey Disease weren't very Chinese.
Do you think maybe we make them the source of mysterious diseases because they are furthest away and have a reputation for inscrutability? A sick bat sold in a market way out in the midst of China ……… forgive me but it sounds like the cigarette in the plastic cup beneath the Bradford stand. Given a need for an explanation we make sense of the world with a believably unlikely bit of bollocks.
Salts is spot on with the Boxers, but I don't think they are out to get us back.
As we spent years investing in Porton Down researching diseases and chemicals which might add to our "defences" I don't think we've much room to be critical of accidentally produced viruses sourced to faraway countries.
You seem to have forgiven Spain for Spanish Flu which killed more people than the 1st World War ……….. and wasn't the last flu' outbreak which spread around world known as Australian Flu.?
