Spot on. Looks like he is going to be appointed so that is great, maybe in a couple of seasons time when we are defensively stable and winning games we can look to a more expansive manager who can take us the the Swansea/Southampton level, but for now survival is priority.

As a side note, we are a bigger club with a bigger fanbase and more stable finances than the relegated clubs you mentioned. We'd be midtable at worst in the Championship.
