Well that was one to forget.

Not a classic for sure, but hertz wanted it way more and they were certainly the better side 2nd half. Stendels game plan was far more effective than ross's on the night, basically the German style high press and they worked very hard to make sure it clicked. They scored a great goal and were still flying into tackles and trying to get forward til the end.

For us it was a tale of a team that didn't turn up at all, the midfield was non existent and Hanlon and Stevo were hopeless...our defending is nowhere near good enough. There is still a softness and lack of leadership on the park from us.

Oh and McNulty should have saw red for the stamp, I had a great view of it and he 100% knew what he was doing. He will get done for it. Play like that in the semi and we can forget about it.
