Attendance: 12,468 (724 away)
No complaints about the result today the better siide won, although we did fall into the trap of hammering the ball skywards against a side with some big lads at the back in it, saying that though looks like Rowett is copying Wilder's style of play with the Blunts with two of the back three going forward to make extra attackers.
With the win Rowett keeps his unbeaten run against us in truth no matter how bad we were today that was a decent Millwall side we played and credit to the 700 away support who were loud for the entire game.
Two changes Nugent and Clarke starting for Maguire and Fisher, we dominated the first 15 minutes Sinclair two efforts which were saved and a Johnson shot which was blocked by Bialkowski before Nugent put the rebound over the bar wasn't a difficult chance. Apart from one Barkhuizen effort which went wide near half time and a Gallagher free kick which was well saved by the keeper at the death we created sod all as the visitors took a grip on the game. As usual they were fdangerous from corners and there first real chance fell at the feet of central defender Cooper whose run was blocked by a defender.
Close to half time Jed Wallace best player on the pitch in my view fired straight at Rudd when maybe shoud have done better.
Conditions deteriorated but it was still the visitors who looked dangerous again causing havoc from corners.

North End nearly gifted the visitors the lead Davies slip let in Bradshaw he advanced on goal but hit the top of the bar a let off but not for long, we failed to deal with another corner and the ball was put back into the box, everybody stopped bar Hutchinson who nodded past Rudd, no more than Millwall deserved.
In the remaining minutes never looked like breaking them down apart from Gally's free kick.
Still sixth but more performances like that and we could be struggling.
Preston manager Alex Neil told BBC Radio Lancashire:
"I thought we started really brightly. We had two or three good chances. I felt for the first 30 minutes we were really good.
"With 30 minutes to go I thought, 'Do we go for it or do we settle for a point?' I made two aggressive substitutes to try and go for it. But we never really got a hold of it.
"It didn't really work if I'm being honest. We struggled to influence the game in the final 15 minutes."

Why should a man go to work, if he has the health and strength to stay in bed?
