Most of us don't like Pullis due to the abomination that was Stoke City in the Championship. But it has to be said that he took a very very poor set of players into the prem ahead of more talented teams. The long throw ins & hoofball kept them in the prem until he assembled a squad of players who could play a better style. Then I really thought he did the Impossible not only keeping Palace up but finishing 11th !
Were Palace a bad team to watch ? They played with wingers and knocked the ball about well. I never thought I would say it but that is 10 x better than the dull shite we are dishing up !
The only problem is that if we did go for Pullis we would have to give him the managers job not head coach and I'm inpt sure JP will do that. That is the saddest part because I think if we ditched Irvine, Downing, Kelly and Burton the players wouldn't be so comfy and let's face it since the fa took Dan Ashworth our signings are starting to look a joke. £6 mill for Anichebe an injury prone forward who can't score who is now...an injury prone forward who can't score ! Brown needs more time so can't judge him but you know what I mean.
Pullis asap for me but it just will not happen. Chris Hughton is the failed cheap option JP will go for.
