Not sure if this is the right thread but that 40/1 on Derek Mcinnes to be the next manager looks far too big, Ex captain and leader (just what we need) and held in high regard plus we have previous of taking a boss from the Scottish Prem and of course compensation would be next to nothing!.....Great price

This is the sort of 'gamble' JP will steer himself a million miles away from. There is NOTHING to suggest that the likes of Mcinnes would be anymore 'savvy' than AI is.
If Alan is going to be replaced then this is a 'one shot' only chance.

IF Irvine goes then whoever ends up taking over would probably a risk to some degree. It was more of a post about his price to big which i reckon it is considering how well he's doing with Aberdeen and all the aforementioned comments. With question marks over both the 2 favs (Pulis and Sherwood) he would be a serious candidate in my opinion and more importantly an appointment i'm sure the fans would be behind if he was chosen which is half the battle straight away. Anyway we shall see what happens who knows 3 points at West Ham could give him more time
