What does everyone else think of this time of year? what is everyone doing for it? are you all ready? what are you hoping for?

I love Christmas. But I can't stand the way it's been taken over by shitehouses like John Lewis, Coca Cola, Marks & Spencer et al. I used to joke about supermarkets getting the Christmas stuff out in November, but for goodness sake, it's more like September when it all starts now. As soon as Halloween is finished they're on with I Wish It Could Be Christmas Every Day. It bloody well seems like it is.
It's a religious festival. I've not seen anything about or anybody mention baby Jesus yet. What the frig is that dragon all about?

What are we doing? The usual. Doing us best to get through Christmas Day in one piece and surviving to get through to the sanity of Boxing Day and the return of football. How crap is Sky Sports News on Christmas Eve and Day!? I do feel sorry for the poor berks having to fill a 24 hour news channel whem there's literally nowt going on.
