Strange signing at the time, we courted him for ages! He went on and had a fantastic career with us and always enjoyed his performances, one of the better ones, wouldn't call him a legend, just a solid professional who I have massive respect for!

I agree a total solid professional, who I have good memories of. I would say I am glad he was on our side and not the oppositions.

My lasting memories will be how every year we talked about bringing someone in as he can't keep going forever. James Chester was a bit part player because of him, Craig Dawson was played at right back because of him, probably others as well but my memory's going. Plus the year he was vying to be our top scorer!

Thanks for the good times G Mac and if he ever wants to be a coach, he should be found a place, professional through and through. The type we should be using to instil the right qualities to the junior set up, there seem to be places available.
