Johnson got injured being fouled for the first one that's probably why.
Preston manager Alex Neil told BBC Radio Lancashire:
"The biggest disappointment is the fact that we conceded three set-play goals. So far this season, before today's game, we were the best team in the league for defending our box for set-plays.
"If you'd have to me today that would have happened, I wouldn't have believed you but we didn't defend our box well enough.
"We scored three goals, could have scored more. When it was 3-3 if anyone was going to score I thought it would be us."
Bristol City head coach Lee Johnson told BBC Radio Bristol:
"I don't feel ecstatic with a point, having had a 2-0 lead, but I don't feel disappointed with my team in anything they've done today.
"We had a good away performance in terms of we were reasonably slick on the break, we had many shots on target.
"They knew they were in a game today and their home form has been top notch."
