There’s nothing like the feeling of ‘hope’ walking through the turnstiles as you anticipate coming away with a win; being able to observe the build-up of individual players as they get into positions which are often out of shot of a camera; the atmosphere you get from the crowd, which can't be replicated through tv (Villa play-off springs to mind). The numerous emotions we get fired-up about during and after the game.
A sense of pride when reminiscing about some of the special occasions over the years and being able to say, ‘I was there’.
If you can afford it and have the health, finances and abilities to get to the game (which many people unfortunately don’t have), then of course you’ve made the right decision!!
