A entertaining game for the hardy few that attended, the end score line was a fair reflection on the game we were excellent for about an hour and City forced us back for the last 30 minutes.#
North End made 9 changes from Saturday as did City, our strategy of not haviing a recognised was certainly different especially as Ginnelly clattered Bowler in the first 30 seconds. City early pressure before we went ahead Hunts heading home from a Harrop free kick, from then on we played some really good football could have added more but doubled our lead on 26 minutes and credit to this must go to the referee who played a great advantage after Potts appeared to have his legs amputated in the half way line, Barkhuizen powered forward shot saved by Ingram Harrop potted the rebound.
City back in the game close to half time think it was Da Silva Lopes who was fouled Magennis did the rest from the spot.

Second half we were not as fluent after Barkhuizen went off injured at half time, should really have scored when Bayliss went through midfield, ball to Potts shot over the bar. On the hour City brought on Jarrod I always score against North End Bowen and started to pen us back, they went direct especially after Eaves was brought on they were 424 by that time and our by now tiring midfield were not seeing the ball, Bowen had already had one mazy run which somehow we managed to clear but a second City goal always looked on the cards and wure enough on 95 the aforementioned Bowen didn't miss from close range.
Penalties we scored all ours City four never thought Eaves would score his, people with man bobs seriously get your hair cut mate.
Third round awaits no doubt be a crap draw.

Why should a man go to work, if he has the health and strength to stay in bed?
