Denly and Burns as openers is spoken about but I am not convinced Burns should be there either.
Stokes is a wonderful and exciting cricketer. But he can’t win the Ashes in his own. There has to be change and we need to play Test Cricket.
Wonderful as today was it turned into a ‘white’ ball bash.

Roy's definitely on borrowed time, but I think Burns's century at Edgbaston has bought him a reprieve for the rest of the series. Stokes has laid down the marker now for the rest of our batsmen; I can only hope that it really is a "Botham '81" moment which lifts the whole team and pushes them on in the last two Tests.
