Influence in American politics is governed by how much money any group is prepared to throw at it and who they are prepared to throw it at, the NRA being a primary example. I am not aware of any Irish groups particularly spending a lot of money on lobbying for Irish specific issues. It’s also worth noting that the large Irish communities have influence is mainly Democratic regions, areas of the country that Trump isn’t targeting with his rhetoric or campaigns.
The Irish communities are not known for being loyal to one party or the other either, they are spread across both parties. Maybe the Irish border issue can bring them together as one but over here bipartisan politics is almost nonexistent and any Republican Trump supporter will likely side against Pelosi on most things.
