A few foreign options
Markus anfang - was sacked from koln with them sitting top of bundesliga 2. Also did well at kiel
Hannes wolf- no longer in charge at hamburg, another young manager. Also had a spell at stuttgart as well as being involved with the bvb set up. He first came to my attention when I was on holiday as he was mentioned as one of the two young upcoming managers in the bundesliga.
Dominico tedesco- he was the other manager and was my choice when wagner left, but he was in charge of schalke at the time, obviously he isn't now. Even younger than siewert but with more experience.
Frank schmidt--has been in charge of heidenheim for a rather long time and has achieved 2 promotions in that time. Looks a scary man. Would be interesting to see if a he leaves heidenheim after 11 years and b what he could do elsewhere.
Heiko herrlich- left leverkusen just before Xmas last year, also managed the German age groups as well as the bayern and bvb youth sides.
Edin terzic- rather left field as he has never been a number 1 instead has been assistant to slaven bilic at West ham and besiktas. Is currently assisting lucien favre at bvb. Has also coached in the bvb age groups as assistant to hannes wolf
Zeljko buvac- another left field suggestion, has basically followed klopp wherever he has been, but parted ways last year. Not known as much of a speaker but a keen tactician, would probably need someone like Bell around to help. Was linked with the arsenal job before emery got the gig.
Bruno labbadia- left wolfsburg at the end of last season. A more experienced coach, but is he a German version of a mark Hughes or Alan pardew?
Giovani van bronkhorst--left feyenoord at the end of last season and you'd suggest he would get a bit of respect from the players considering his playing history, didn't have too bad a record at feyenoord
