Apparently 3 would go down from L1 instead of 4 if Bury go under. Bury have got 14 days to sort it out otherwise they will be expelled from the Football League and I guess they would have to start a phoenix club in the North West Counties League.
I agree with how the Germans do it where clubs in Germany have to be 51% owned by the fans and the fans elect a chairman and they can say how much ticket prices will be. The socialist fan owned clubs can work but they need a plan and everyone has to pull in the same direction.
Maclad it's not the Premier League clubs job to give money to clubs which are cash strapped. The only way that Premier League clubs can help lower league clubs is by buying players in the lower divisions instead of buying players from abroad. Managers of Premier League clubs would rather go out and buy a French striker for a few million who has scored 30 goals in Ligue 1 instead of going into L1/L2 or even the National League to find a young player English or British player. A lot of this is to do with the Premier League clubs managers or scouts who don't have the knowledge of these divisions. The blame also lies with TV rights and the FA because not enough money in the Premier League goes back into grassroots football and that's the biggest problem.
