Ironic, isn`t it, that Phil and Gary Neville - who`ve put so much into Salford City - both hail from Bury; in fact, wasn`t their father a director there some years ago? I`d imagine it must niggle Bury fans no end to think how much they could have done for their home town club but, for reasons best known to them, chose not to.
Looking at things from a totally selfish viewpoint (potentially, anyway) if Bury are kicked out of the EFL does that mean that there`ll be an extra promotion place up for grabs from the National League this year?
