Enthralling morning session, good effort from England to make it through with only one loss, albeit plenty of work still to do. Australia bowled pretty well and we rode our luck at times; Burns should have been out LBW to Nathan Lyon, and how the bails stayed on for Root after the ball clipped the off stump, I'll never know. But for once we're playing the situation as it needs to be played: grind down the oppo, soften up the ball, and hopefully cash in as the afternoon wears on.
