I do think we have to be careful before writing off players, Rondon was a great example.  IMO there was no doubting he was a class striker, but even the best strikers of all time would not be that good if they usually got the ball in their own half because they were back defending, our style simple did not fit with his style of play.  Hopefully Zohore will be a different story and just to wet the  whistle a little https://youtu.be/VNcEkw-WB7g

Thanks for that Salop, that was a pleasure to watch and if he can do that regularly then I think he will do Ok for us.

Positives - He is the right height, fast, brushes people off, right age. Some cracking goals, good mixture of with feet and head.

Negatives - Goalie should have saved a few of them, more the earlier ones than the late ones. Not many goals in the premier league.

He is saying the right things as well, so I am starting to warm to him, 8Mill may be a bit on the steep side, but forwards who can score are few and far between. We really needed a forward so may be that's what we had to pay. I have heard that the 8Mill includes add ons and the initial fee is below that.
