Wowza!!
Just a couple of years ago I saw a bit of a top league women's game, and it was 'pub team' standard, with apologies to many pub teams.
I haven't watched any since, until this tournament's knock out phase started, as I was thinking it could only be marginally better, if it all.
WRONG!
The game is now played at a good pace by skilful, fit players who try to keep possession AND go forward (most professional men footballers take note).
IMHO it's a far better game to watch than the PL, and maybe even the Championship. Also, most of the players are more honest and don't try and cheat and fall about like.....girls
If you've not watched any because (like me maybe) of some outdated idea of the women's game, give it a try!
