Of course the West could invest heavily in Venezuela, which has the world's biggest oil reserves, tell the Middle East it is not worth risking an immediate end to the world by financing their human rights' abuses and that we've realised the Climate Emergency can be exacerbated much cheaper and more safely in South America.
If we stop buying the oil, the tankers won't need to sail through the Gulf of Hormuz and Iran won't have anything to fire at, mine, or ignore.

£600 and odd from 30 donations ..........? I'm sure I've more spare cash than a lot of the contributors on here, but I thought we'd hit our very limited target in days. The site and those running it deserved a better response IMO.
