I’ve actually already had three rounds of talks with the club. The first two went well but it all fell apart at the third when they finally asked me what my monetary expectations were. It seems my answer of £250 per week wage and £250,000 for transfers to cover four transfer windows was asking for too much.
Oh well. The Barcelona job might be available soon so I’ll try my luck there instead. Less pressure to succeed there.
