Ska'd, I agree with the majority of your post and I was not singling out LGBTQ+ or pride marches, they have had and are still having a difficult time to be heard ....... I was aiming my comments more generally at all the pressure groups that ram their cause down societies throat, Gordon Brown was a prime example, his view was the only view, if you disagreed with him you were racist or a bigot. I hate the way the St George's flag has been hijacked by the far right and that I am not allowed to be English, I have to be British. The Welsh, the Scots and the Northern Irish are allowed to be so but I can not.
I will say no more on this topic and allow this thread to be about its original subject matter other than to say Ska'd's post was well written, very fair and put his thoughts and views on the subject in a clear and concise way without being aggressive or patronising.
