All this could've been avoided had the liner had stuck his flag up. The Leeds goalscorer was a yard offside. Laugh
Many years ago at Vale Park, the Town keeper threw the ball out to touch when one of our players was down. Can't remember who the players were but one of theirs intercepted the throw took it around the stricken Town defender and scored.
We went potty. But nobody gave us a walk through goal.
I reckon there should be some kind of directive stopping players from doing this, I mean stopping play. It should be up to the ref. Villa were aggrieved because they'd put the ball out for Leeds a few minutes earlier. Take control referee. You get paid to make these decisions!
